About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Ascend Learning is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness and product preference for both new and existing products. This role involves collaboration with various teams to create impactful marketing plans, ensuring a seamless customer experience across all communication platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Champion and lead effective go-to-market launch plans for new products.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns and cross-promotional strategies for existing products.
  • Serve as the liaison with Product, Sales, Operations, and Digital Marketing teams on go-to-market plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review product performance and propose new opportunities.
  • Provide updates on progress and metrics to leadership.
  • Act as a brand evangelist and thought leader for products through various communication channels.
  • Propose plans for generating product awareness at events and tradeshows.
  • Develop an understanding of brand message and tone for effective communication.
  • Educate stakeholders on product features, benefits, and differentiators.
  • Work with external partners on messaging strategy and design needs.
  • Measure and optimize customer experience related to product launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, sports science, or a similar field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing or product management.
  • Strong general marketing skills with a focus on customer engagement.
  • Ability to create effective messaging and marketing plans across product lifecycles.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple product plans in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and technical acumen preferred.
