About the position

As a Product Marketing Manager at Lucid Software, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our innovative suite of visual collaboration products. Lucid Software is recognized as a leader in visual collaboration, helping teams transform ideas into reality through our products, including Lucidchart, Lucidspark, and Lucidscale. Your primary focus will be on understanding our users deeply—what they need, why they choose our products, and their future expectations. This understanding will guide you in building and executing comprehensive go-to-market plans for critical product launches, ensuring that our marketing and product teams work in harmony to meet customer needs and accelerate business growth. You will partner closely with product teams to research, develop, and launch specific solutions and integrations that enhance value for our current users while attracting new customers. Your responsibilities will include owning the positioning and messaging for product launches, crafting compelling narratives that resonate across all user touchpoints. Collaboration with sales and customer success teams will be essential, as you will assist in creating sales enablement materials and support the sales process in various capacities. Additionally, you will conduct detailed competitor research to identify our strengths and areas for improvement in the market. Working cross-functionally with demand generation and content marketing teams, you will help implement programs that drive self-serve usage and generate sales opportunities. Your role will also involve developing thought leadership materials that define industry standards and showcase our expertise. This position is dynamic and requires a proactive approach to various marketing challenges, with other duties assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Know our users better than anyone else, including what they need, why they buy, and what they want from us in the future.
  • Build and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for critical product launches focused on product integrations, ensuring marketing and product teams are working in concert to meet customer needs and rapidly grow the business.
  • Partner with product teams to research, develop, and launch specific solutions and integrations that will add value for current users, as well as acquire new customers.
  • Own positioning and messaging for given product launches and personas, ensuring we tell a highly-relevant, highly-impactful story across all user touchpoints.
  • Work closely with sales and customer success in all facets of the sales process, including assisting product marketing managers in creating sales enablement materials.
  • Perform detailed competitor research to understand where our products win and opportunities to improve our position in the market.
  • Work cross-functionally with the demand generation team and content marketing team to assist with programs, in conjunction with other marketing teams, that drive self-serve usage and sales opportunities.
  • Develop industry-defining thought leadership materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of product marketing or related experience in enterprise software.
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Creative, articulate, influential, and engaging with a proven track record of success.
  • Self-learner, willing to learn new skills, industries, and platforms, including the most technical aspects and use cases at Lucid.
  • Constantly improving with an insatiable appetite for learning.
  • Takes ownership of problems and never shies away from a challenge.
  • Honest, direct, and professional.
  • Ability to prioritize work and initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience marketing integrations, partner marketplaces, and/or API platforms.
  • Experience working closely with sales and customer success teams to unblock deals and revenue through new product development.
