About the position

The Product Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in the marketing team, reporting directly to the Director of Products and Services. This position is responsible for the development and execution of product-specific marketing strategies aimed at enhancing the sales channel and driving global sales across various vertical markets. The role encompasses both existing and new products, ensuring that marketing materials are tailored to meet the needs of the sales team and effectively communicate the value of the products to potential customers. In this full-time, non-exempt position, the Product Marketing Manager will be tasked with creating a range of marketing content, including product-specific materials that support sales efforts. This includes producing learning materials for the sales channel, managing communications regarding product updates, and collaborating with the global sales team to prioritize marketing needs based on impact and urgency. The role also involves documenting and prioritizing tasks, collecting feedback on products, and communicating marketing strategies and results to management and team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing, particularly in the professional audio industry, and will be adept at working both independently and as part of a team. They will possess excellent communication skills and a data-driven approach to marketing, utilizing CRM systems to analyze and interpret market data. Additionally, the Product Marketing Manager will be expected to travel globally to represent the company's products at various events and to engage with end users and partners.

Requirements

  • Experience with product lifecycle management.

  • Familiarity with print media, web-based content, and social media.
  • Experience in creating presentation materials.
  • Data driven analytical skills with experience using CRM systems.
  • Understanding of different sales channels and routes to market.
  • Ability to interpret incoming requests and balance against strategic goals.
  • Experience in event planning and execution.
  • Willingness to travel globally to represent Meyer Sound products to end users and partners.
  • In-depth knowledge of the professional audio industry.
  • Degree level education (to Bachelor level) in Business, marketing or a Pro Audio related subject.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Experience in video content creation.
  • Existing relationships with Pro AV press.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems.
