The Product Marketing Manager is accountable for the strategy and product lifecycle for the Commercial Door Business under the Overhead Door and Wayne Dalton brand names. This role involves leading a cross-functional Product Business Team that is responsible for executing the action plan aimed at increasing sales and margins for the business. The manager will oversee the full product development lifecycle, ensuring successful market launches and expansions. This includes owning the financial P&L for Commercial Doors, monitoring key performance metrics, and managing existing product lines along with a 3-year roadmap. In this position, the Product Marketing Manager will drive the development of business cases that define the product value proposition, supporting product roadmap investments in collaboration with business partners. The role requires analyzing market situations to develop appropriate pricing strategies for both current and new products. Conducting market research to understand customer needs, competitive analysis, and macro-industry trends is essential. The manager will also determine the new product development roadmap, customer requirements, launch commercialization, and expected financial returns. Additionally, the Product Marketing Manager will explore and develop new opportunities through products, branding, channels, processes, and technologies, ensuring alignment with existing product strategies and the overall strategic plan.
