About the position

Silk is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategies for their cloud database solutions. This role involves conducting market analysis, refining product positioning, and creating compelling marketing materials to effectively communicate the benefits and differentiators of Silk's offerings. The Product Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to drive revenue and product adoption, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the source of truth for product positioning and messaging.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of customer needs, buying motions, and competitive differentiators.
• Create customer-facing collateral and enable content creation teams for sales and demand generation campaigns.
• Provide input to prioritize Revenue Marketing campaigns and inform content creation for demand generation.
• Execute go-to-market strategy in collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Sales Leadership.
• Quarterback internal and external launches of new features and releases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Marketing Manager in B2B enterprise software, preferably in database, storage, or cloud.
• Strong project management skills to plan and execute campaigns effectively.
• Ability to leverage data to shape marketing efforts and assess initiative effectiveness.
• Excellent storytelling skills to translate technical concepts into compelling narratives.
• Deep customer empathy to understand customer needs and challenges.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in cloud infrastructure and software-defined storage.
• Familiarity with demand generation and revenue marketing strategies.
