About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at FormFactor, Inc. is responsible for leading global strategic marketing activities for assigned probe card products. This role involves close collaboration with account teams and senior management to define product positioning, strategy, and communications objectives. The manager will engage with customers to understand their testing challenges and develop solutions using FormFactor's technology, while also managing product roadmaps and market requirements to maximize profit and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy and roadmap.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market gaps.
  • Create and publish Market Requirements Documents that clearly define customer needs and features/specs that differentiate FFI products.
  • Identify strategic vectors of differentiation for products through competitive and market research.
  • Develop business cases to support market and business development.
  • Define Value Propositions to support the competitive positioning of the products and solutions in the market.
  • Define value pricing propositions that support high margin contribution for the Company's products.
  • Develop target and key account positioning strategies in support of sales activities.
  • Develop and articulate fact-based and current competitive intelligence.
  • Lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, including beta testing and sales training.
  • Articulate objectives to ensure product and organizational success.
  • Participate in strategic planning activities for growth opportunities.
  • Train sales/account teams on market knowledge and FFI products.
  • Engage cross-functionally with various departments as part of NPI.
  • Interface with customers to define device testing requirements.
  • Use negotiation skills to close gaps between customer requirements and factory capabilities.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or other technical degree; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in applications, marketing, product development, or general management with leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role in the semiconductor industry with knowledge of manufacturing and test processes.
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering technical role within the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong technical understanding in high-speed digital or RF applications and theory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through technical engagements.
  • Comfortable speaking to groups and engaging in problem-solving dialogue with customers.
  • Ability to travel for business up to 50% of the time.
