The Product Marketing Manager at Garrison Dental Solutions is a leadership role focused on driving innovation and success within the dental product portfolio. Responsibilities

  • Lead product management efforts to ensure alignment with marketing and sales strategies, contributing to achieving the 2025 sales budget.
  • Oversee the new product development process to successfully launch two innovative products in 2025.
  • Identify and prioritize unmet customer needs through market research and direct engagement with key stakeholders, adding at least two new products to the NPD pipeline in 2025.
  • Stay abreast of the latest marketing trends and innovations, especially in the dental industry, and incorporate these into marketing practices.
  • Conduct and oversee primary and secondary market research to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.
  • Identify and investigate business opportunities and product development strategies for restorative dentistry portfolio expansion.
  • Lead and support new product idea identification, defining product specifications and the design, development, and implementation of new products.
  • Interface with engineering, operations, sales, the review board, customers, and suppliers to identify and mitigate product development risks.
  • Support product-related alliances and joint ventures development; create business cases, propose and negotiate key business terms.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement by working closely with global sales and marketing functions.
  • Establish key performance metrics for new product development activities and product category performance, regularly monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on their effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage global pricing structures through global market research and competitor and trend analyses.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in marketing.
  • Minimum five years in product management within a manufacturer of highly engineered durable goods; preferably B2B.
  • Experience in the dental industry or with medical products is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to command respect across functions and balance mentoring with empowerment.
  • Teamwork-oriented and respectful of others, determined, action-biased, and results-driven.
  • Holds personal accountability and ownership mentality, committed to continuous improvement.
  • Analytical, able to find workable solutions to complex situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Available to travel to U.S. trade shows about five times per year.
