About the position

KLA Corporation's FaST division is seeking a Product Marketing Manager who will play a pivotal role in the development of market requirements for product lines within the division. This position involves defining product strategies, conducting market research, identifying customer needs, and establishing pricing strategies. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing comprehensive business and product marketing plans, managing product life cycles (PLC), and owning product positioning in the marketplace. This role requires close collaboration with various departments, including applications, engineering, manufacturing, and sales, to enhance existing products and ensure successful market penetration and adoption. The Product Marketing Manager will also be tasked with driving engagements in high-growth markets by clearly defining and promoting differentiated products. This includes interacting with key strategic customers and being accountable for business objectives in specific regions or accounts. The role involves supporting pre-sales and after-sales projects, developing product presentations for key customers, and defining strategies for product penetration and adoption in collaboration with regional teams. In addition to these responsibilities, the Product Marketing Manager will engage in market analysis, competition analysis, and forecasting product demand. The position requires a strong understanding of semiconductor or packaging cleanroom/fab processes, as well as experience in strategic marketing to identify changing requirements and new opportunities. The successful candidate will also support new product releases through beta testing at customer sites and will be expected to deliver technical presentations and executive summaries. Knowledge of metrology tools and applications, as well as experience in etch, thin films, and lithography, will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop market requirements for product(s) or product line(s) in the FaST division.
  • Define product strategy, conduct market research, and identify customer needs.
  • Establish pricing strategies for products.
  • Develop business and product marketing plans and manage product life cycles (PLC).
  • Own product positioning in the marketplace and customer engagement from penetration to adoption.
  • Interact with applications, engineering, manufacturing, and sales departments to improve existing products.
  • Drive engagements in high growth markets by promoting differentiated products.
  • Support pre-sales and after-sales projects as a region or account owner.
  • Develop product presentations for key customers and define penetration and adoption strategies.
  • Conduct market analysis, competition analysis, and product demand forecasting.
  • Support new product releases through beta testing at customer sites.
  • Deliver technical presentations and executive summaries.

Requirements

  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; or Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; or Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor or packaging cleanroom/fab processes.
  • Experience in developing business plans and product introduction plans.
  • Ability to conduct market analysis by compiling customer information and industry reports.
  • Experience in strategic marketing to understand changing requirements and new opportunities.
  • Ability to forecast product demand and conduct competition analysis.
  • Experience in product pricing and customer engagements.
  • Ability to work closely with Customer, Field Applications, Marketing, and Engineering teams.
