About the position

TravelPerk is a hyper-growth SaaS platform that aims to revolutionize the $1.3 trillion business travel market by providing a comprehensive solution for booking, managing, and reporting business travel. As the first Product Marketing Manager (PMM) hire in the US, you will play a pivotal role in understanding customer insights, market trends, and competition to drive revenue and product development opportunities. This position is crucial as the US is the second largest business travel market, and with a recent acquisition, the team size and revenue have significantly increased. You will be responsible for tailoring product positioning and leading launches specifically for the US market, ensuring that our offerings resonate with local customer needs. In this highly cross-functional role, you will collaborate closely with various teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Design, User Research, Communications, and Customer Care. Your primary responsibilities will include synthesizing insights from customer feedback and competitor analysis, partnering with product and revenue teams to prioritize initiatives, crafting compelling product messaging, and executing go-to-market strategies for product launches. You will also develop strategies to drive product adoption and customer engagement, coordinate with the Sales Enablement team to equip sales teams with necessary tools, and create content such as blog posts and webinars to communicate new product features. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. You will be expected to think creatively and solve problems effectively while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Your contributions will be vital in helping TravelPerk maintain its position as a leading travel management solution and in driving the company's growth in the US market.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize insights through analysis of customer feedback and competitor trends.
  • Partner with product and revenue on opportunity sizing for prioritization of initiatives for the US market.
  • Craft compelling product messaging and positioning to address local customer needs.
  • Lead the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for product launches.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive product adoption and customer engagement.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Enablement team to provide necessary tools for Sales teams.
  • Help create blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, or webinars to communicate new product features.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product marketing, ideally within the B2B or travel industry.
