About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Versaterm is responsible for defining product positioning and messaging to ensure consistency across marketing campaigns and sales tools. This role involves collaborating with various teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives, managing marketing campaigns across multiple channels, and developing solution-specific content. The manager will also monitor campaign performance, report on KPIs and ROI, and become a subject matter expert on assigned products while researching industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Define product positioning and messaging that resonate with the target audience and ensure consistency across campaigns and sales enablement tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Events, and Operations, to align marketing strategies with business objectives
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels to drive demand generation leveraging account-based marketing strategies along with traditional tactics
  • Manage and create solution-specific content, including sales enablement materials, gated content, presentations, and other collateral
  • Maintain consistent corporate branding throughout all touchpoints, promotional materials, events, and customer communications
  • Monitor the performance of campaigns and provide reporting, insights, and recommendations to continually optimize and improve results
  • Research and monitor industry trends, presentations, and other communications as needed
  • Become a subject matter expert in all products assigned
  • Partner with the sales enablement team to empower sales and customer success teams with playbooks, customer stories, and competitive positioning
  • Continue to develop professionally to stay current with marketing trends and software advancements

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in product marketing with a track record of successfully launching campaigns
  • Strong understanding of demand generation with a track record of owning campaigns from concept to impact
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand and communicate complex concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong evidence of critical and strategic thinking and execution
  • Self-starter and strong problem solver with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Knowledge of digital marketing trends and tools, including social media, paid advertising, content marketing, and analytics
  • Experience in B2B marketing and technology preferred, public safety industry experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and CMS software (Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus)
