About the position

As a Product Marketing Manager at Janus Henderson, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies for assigned product sets. This position requires a deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in B2B marketing, where you will collaborate closely with product specialists to create compelling product narratives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the production of various marketing materials such as webpages, sales aids, videos, product brochures, and presentations. You will work in tandem with teams across investment writing, distribution, design, compliance, and channel marketing to ensure that all marketing content is of the highest quality and effectiveness. In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for senior-level business partners, gaining insights into their needs and objectives, particularly in relation to the storytelling initiatives that will be integrated into pitch books. You will also partner with channel marketing to influence distribution strategies for product content across various platforms, including email, web, and print. A key aspect of your role will be to develop and execute a strategy for an efficient system of product collateral that aligns with each distribution channel's sales process and client journey. Additionally, you will represent the marketing team in major business and regulatory change projects, driving implementation strategies and ensuring successful execution. You will be responsible for maintaining consistency in master messaging and data reporting across all product marketing materials, performance communications, and webpages. Your role will also involve researching competitors to enhance your knowledge and incorporate industry best practices into your strategies and materials. You will be expected to carry out additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the marketing team and the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy for assigned product sets

Requirements

  • Three years marketing experience within the financial services industry or equivalent required
  • B2B marketing experience, including direct contact with sales force
  • In-depth knowledge of the sales process required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Investment Product Knowledge and Story Building expertise required
  • Excellent project management capability
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong understanding of financial marketplace and distribution process
  • Knowledge of financial markets and their functions
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Thorough understanding of industry compliance requirements
  • Broad knowledge of regulatory environment in UK and Europe
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
