About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Eurofins is responsible for leading both inbound and outbound marketing activities, providing strategic oversight and message creation for assigned service lines. This role focuses on driving market growth in strategic verticals by managing research, communications, campaigns, ad buys, digital content, technical publications, and sales communication. The position requires exceptional communication skills, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of the food industry, making it essential for differentiating Eurofins' services in the North American food market.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Identifies and analyzes market trends and industry activities for growth opportunities
  • Collaborates with Eurofins businesses to create marketing strategies and tactics to support business objectives
  • Acts as an expert for the Eurofins food, feed, and dietary supplement services portfolio
  • Develops compelling content that resonates with current and future customers
  • Leads cross-functional teams to create and refine content to promote Eurofins' thought leadership
  • Develops value propositions, marketing tools, and campaigns to attract new prospects and customers
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a scientific discipline such as chemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, food science, or similar field
  • 8-10 years of experience in the food industry
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role (marketing, sales, client services, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success at building customer relationships and understanding customer needs
  • Excellent understanding of scientific principles
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • High competency in organizational, project management, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities to meet aggressive deadlines in a high-volume work environment
  • Effective listening skills with the proven ability to be self-directed and work independently and in a team environment
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to drive change
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate key technical concepts effectively (in English)
  • Working knowledge of sales processes and best practices

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA is a plus
  • Product management experience within the food and nutrition testing sector
  • In-depth knowledge of the nutritional chemistry and contaminant testing market or the food safety and microbiology testing market
  • Working knowledge of Marketing Automation platforms and CRMs
  • Demonstrated experience launching and marketing new products and services to a scientific B2B market
