About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Zuora is responsible for driving the company's product marketing efforts as it scales into a multi-product organization. This role focuses on understanding market dynamics, creating impactful positioning, and executing go-to-market strategies to enhance customer engagement and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in product marketing, the ability to simplify complex technologies, and a passion for execution and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the market by applying market research skills and distilling insights for marketing, sales, and product.
  • Become an expert on complex products, highlighting pains, solutions, and appropriate use cases.
  • Create impactful positioning and persuasive stories for targeted events and sales efforts.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and deliver strategic content that drives pipeline and deal acceleration.
  • Execute cross-organizational product launches, ensuring effective communication of innovations to relevant audiences.
  • Create mid-bottom funnel product collateral such as whitepapers, datasheets, and presentations for marketing and sales efforts.
  • Influence product direction by understanding market needs and aligning product innovations accordingly.
  • Measure impact and make strategic recommendations to enhance the Product Marketing team.

Requirements

  • 3-8+ years' experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or adjacent roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with an interest in technology and the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Understanding of complex B2B software buying processes and the value of product marketing management.
  • Experience engaging with Finance and senior-level IT personas.
  • Proven ability to create strong relationships with internal stakeholders across product, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual/presentation skills.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with a desire to learn and grow.
