About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at DISCO will be the first hire in this role, responsible for owning the go-to-market strategy, refining product positioning, and creating strategies for product adoption and customer retention. This position is integral to the Go-to-Market team and will report directly to the Head of Marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience in SaaS and B2B environments, with a strong focus on building product awareness and driving growth through effective marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Own the internal and external narrative around 'who uses DISCO' by developing actionable customer personas.
  • Develop a deep understanding of DISCO customer needs, pain points, and behaviors.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and serve as the DISCO expert on competition positioning.
  • Develop product value propositions and identify unique selling points that align DISCO's features with customer pain points.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing to develop product positioning and messaging.
  • Partner with the content team to create compelling content such as case studies and educational materials.
  • Design, drive, and refine DISCO's go-to-market approach to maximize audience reach and retention.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine trial-to-paid conversion processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a product marketing role
  • Experience with B2B and B2C
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies
  • Experience managing product lifecycle stages from beta launches to retention strategies
  • Proficiency in using data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems using quantitative and qualitative insights
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
