About the position

Telemecanique Sensors, a YAGEO company, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to oversee the management and execution of assigned products and product families for sale within North America and Canada. This role is crucial in rolling out new products, which includes developing marketing materials, promotional tools, and pricing strategies tailored to specific applications and OEMs. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for understanding the value proposition of assigned products and effectively communicating this to the sales team to enhance customer, OEM, and distributor promotion. The successful candidate will gather customer input and business needs to provide feedback for product improvements and strategies. They will execute new product strategies aimed at driving market share growth for Telemecanique, which involves creating competitive pricing structures and gathering market intelligence for initial forecasts. Collaboration with global product managers, engineers, and manufacturing teams is essential to highlight local successes and provide commercial support for post-sale opportunities, including quality modifications. Additionally, the Product Marketing Manager will drive marketing initiatives for lead management and generation, utilizing various channels such as tradeshows, advertisements, and digital campaigns, while monitoring the revenue generated from these activities through established KPIs. This position requires a proactive approach to product management and a strong understanding of industrial automation solutions, including control system architecture and sensor design.

Responsibilities

  • Rollout of assigned new products in North America, including marketing material, playbook, promotional tools, pricing, and targeted applications and OEMs
  • Understand assigned product's value proposition and externalize to the US and Canada sales team for customer, OEM and distributor promotion
  • Gather customer input and business needs to provide feedback for assigned products
  • Execute new product strategies to drive Telemecanique market share growth
  • Create competitive pricing for rollout of new products and gather market intelligence for competitive pricing feedback
  • Collaborate with global product managers, engineers, and manufacturing to highlight local wins and success stories
  • Provide commercial and application support for post-sale product opportunities
  • Drive marketing for lead management and generation, including tradeshows, advertisements, and other campaigns with KPIs for monitoring revenue from activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of industrial product management experience in an industrial environment
  • Proven history of rolling out new products in a diverse organization
  • Experience with Salesforce or ERP systems to collaborate on opportunities and funnel activity
  • Good communication and organization skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and highly motivated
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization
