About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Color Street will play a pivotal role in driving strategy and product marketing for the makeup and nail categories. This position involves collaborating with the Director of Product Marketing and cross-functional teams to execute product launches from concept to market. The manager will oversee all aspects of product development, ensuring timely and organized delivery of tasks while developing compelling product stories and positioning that align with the brand's vision.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and support all aspects of product launch between nail and makeup categories.
  • Write Product and Program GTM Briefs for launches, collaborating with stakeholders to define strategy, requirements, and timelines.
  • Develop compelling product stories and positioning that align with the brand vision and voice.
  • Create competitive reports to identify opportunities for product positioning and differentiation.
  • Track and update all costs for New Product Development, maintaining accurate information for orders and re-orders.
  • Monitor sales and inventory levels, providing strategic insights and marketing strategies based on trends and business needs.
  • Evaluate cost margins for new and promotional products to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior marketing managers on pricing, cost targets, and positioning for products.
  • Partner with R&D to conduct competitive research and develop claims for testing.
  • Work with Project Management to ensure programs are on track for timely launch.
  • Procure promotional products within budget and timing, aligning with marketing managers and fulfillment teams.
  • Own all program and product calendars, ensuring updates are communicated department-wide.
  • Stay ahead of trends and innovations, proactively bringing new ideas to marketing and product development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, creative, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to balance results and program driving.
  • Self-starter, accountable, and highly organized with multitasking abilities.
