About the position

As a Product Marketing Manager at Nextdoor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies for consumer products. This position involves representing the voice of the consumer in product design, developing positioning for new products and features, and leading go-to-market strategies. You will work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office presence with remote work, and contribute to a culture that values inclusivity and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive alignment with leadership and stakeholder partners to develop product marketing strategy and coordinate cross-functional resources.
  • Identify insights from the competitive landscape, voice of consumer, NPS, and market trends to influence the product roadmap.
  • Develop effective product positioning and messaging to tell the Nextdoor story.
  • Lead product launches and feature releases across multiple channels to drive member growth, acquisition, engagement, and ongoing adoption.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, researchers, designers, and fellow marketers to drive insights and results.
  • Build analytical business cases and data-backed measurable KPIs for experiments and product marketing plans, monitoring effectiveness metrics for leadership.
  • Continuously optimize marketing approaches to improve alignment and efficiencies.
  • Participate in in-person events, trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and team-building exercises to foster relationships and culture.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years working experience with at least 2 years in a product marketing capacity.
  • Ability to be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to deliver succinct and impactful messaging that resonates with users.
  • Strong analytical skills to distill data into actionable insights.
  • Well organized and detail-oriented with excellent teamwork skills.
  • Deep curiosity and drive to continuously improve user experience.
  • Unquestioned integrity and impeccable judgment with critical thinking ability.
  • Collaborative, strategic, and operational marketer comfortable with open communication.
