About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at ABB is responsible for developing and implementing the go-to-market strategy for the Commercial Essentials franchise. This role involves collaborating with product management and marketing teams to define product value propositions, oversee sales and marketing activities, and support sales organizations in driving product demand. The position is hybrid and contributes to the Electrification Installation Products division, focusing on achieving key performance metrics and ensuring balanced growth across product lines.

Responsibilities

  • Create, plan, and implement the local go-to-market product marketing strategy.
  • Define and communicate product value propositions and product positioning.
  • Focus on achieving targets for metrics like total demand orders, growth margin percentage, and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Evaluate market opportunities and coordinate activities across local divisions and business units.
  • Promote technical aspects and provide solutions using a value-based selling approach.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Business or Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or Sales.
  • Prior experience and knowledge of the electrical industry strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 30-40% as needed.
