About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at KLA's FaST division is responsible for developing market requirements for specific products or product lines, defining product strategies, conducting market research, and identifying customer needs. This role involves managing product life cycles, owning product positioning, and engaging with customers to drive product adoption. The PMM will also collaborate with various departments to enhance existing products and support business objectives in high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop market requirements for product(s) or product line(s) in the FaST division.
  • Define product strategy and conduct market research to identify customer needs.
  • Manage product life cycles (PLC) and own product positioning in the marketplace.
  • Engage with customers from penetration to adoption of products.
  • Interact with applications, engineering, manufacturing, and sales departments to improve existing products.
  • Develop product presentations for key customers and define penetration and adoption strategies for specific accounts.
  • Support pre-sales and after-sales projects as a region or account owner.

Requirements

  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree with 3 years of related work experience; or Master's Level Degree with 6 years of related work experience; or Bachelor's Level Degree with 8 years of related work experience.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor or packaging cleanroom/fab processes.
  • Experience in developing business plans and product introduction plans.
  • Ability to conduct market analysis and compile customer information and industry reports.
  • Experience in strategic marketing and understanding changing requirements and new opportunities.
  • Skills in forecasting product demand and conducting competition analysis.
  • Experience in product pricing and supporting new product releases through Beta at customer sites.

  • Knowledge/experience on Metrology tools/applications.
