About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Dealertrack is responsible for developing and maintaining product marketing plans to drive awareness, trial, adoption, and growth of new and existing products and services. This role involves collaborating with various internal stakeholders to align marketing strategies with product roadmaps and leveraging research and data insights to inform campaign plans.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and oversees the product marketing approach for a suite of products, identifying positioning, value propositions, competitive comparisons, research and data insights, and target audiences.
  • Develops positioning and go-to-market approach for new product launches and key product enhancements.
  • Serves as day-to-day marketing contact to business partners and Product Readiness, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams to align go-to-market strategy and tactics with the product roadmap.
  • Leverages research, data, and insights to lead campaign plans, clearly identifying target client segments, markets, and sales channels that will drive greatest revenue and adoption.
  • Works with Sales and Omnichannel Marketing partners to develop and activate targeted campaigns, content, and collateral through appropriate channels.
  • Collaborates with internal and external communications teams to ensure key messaging is integrated across various communications.
  • Coordinates the alignment of resources to support responsibilities from adjacent marketing functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 6 years of product, portfolio, or solutions marketing experience for a B2B or B2C organization.
  • 1 year of experience in management or lead role.
  • Balanced mix of strategic and executional capabilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital, traditional, and social media communications.
  • Strong written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills, team player with a customer-centric focus.
  • Project Management, technical/analytical skills; able to manage different projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with remote management and teams.
  • Track record of utilizing research and insights to identify new market opportunities.
  • Experience launching new products with specific goal alignment.
  • Experience writing and executing marketing plans.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications; master's degree preferred.
  • Automotive experience is a plus.
