About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Legrand is responsible for driving brand identity, strategy, positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation for the Chief brand. This role involves leading sales enablement efforts, collaborating on marketing activities, and developing the product roadmap through market research and Voice of Customer (VOC) insights. The manager acts as a liaison between various teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to empower sales channels and enhance customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, strategize, and collaborate on product roadmap.
  • Conduct market research and VOC activities to inform product strategy.
  • Analyze market opportunities and contribute to new product development.
  • Identify industry trends and derive actionable insights.
  • Develop compelling product value propositions and positioning statements.
  • Create comprehensive marketing plans for supported products.
  • Develop external content and tools for marketing and sales.
  • Manage product-related web content and improve user experience.
  • Support events strategy and represent the brand at trade shows.
  • Monitor competitor trends and develop differentiation strategies.
  • Collaborate across teams to drive business and product marketing strategies.
  • Engage with global partners and customers to enhance market share.
  • Initiate and support process development and improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales teams.
  • Develop sales tools and content to support sales efforts.
  • Create training materials for sales teams.
  • Manage product lifecycle communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in product marketing.
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data for market insights.
  • Experience in conducting VOC research and market analysis.
  • Strong storytelling skills and ability to articulate complex concepts.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail and professionalism.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce.com and SAP.
