About the position

GuidePoint Security is seeking a high-energy and proven Product Marketing Manager to join our Corporate Marketing Team. This role is pivotal in driving the marketing strategy for our professional services, which are designed to help organizations navigate the complexities of cybersecurity. The successful candidate will report directly to the VP of Marketing and Product Strategy and will collaborate closely with subject matter experts across the organization to create compelling content that effectively positions our services in the market. In this fast-paced environment, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading content development and go-to-market strategies for both new and existing solution offerings. The ideal candidate will be a master storyteller, capable of translating complex technical information into engaging and accessible collateral that resonates with our target audience. This includes creating and curating a variety of content types such as datasheets, sales presentations, web copy, whitepapers, videos, webinars, and podcasts. Additionally, the role involves positioning GuidePoint's professional services from both a thought leadership and competitive perspective, understanding the different personas involved in the purchasing decision. Conducting market and competitive analysis will be essential to ensure our services are effectively positioned. The Product Marketing Manager will also craft compelling messages for various marketing channels, collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the creation and utilization of proper collateral in go-to-market efforts, and manage our Digital Asset Management platform to keep content updated and relevant.

Responsibilities

  • Lead content development and go to market strategy for new and existing solution offerings
  • Translate technical content from SMEs into engaging collateral that draws customers in
  • Create and curate content such as datasheets, sales presentations, web copy, whitepapers, videos, webinars, and podcasts
  • Position GuidePoint's professional services from a thought leadership perspective and understand the different personas involved in a purchase decision
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to better position services
  • Craft compelling messages for use across marketing channels
  • Work with various teams to ensure proper collateral is created and used in GTM efforts
  • Drive the company's blog strategy and content creation
  • Manage our Digital Asset Management platform to ensure updated and relevant content

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in Marketing in a similar role
  • Previous Cybersecurity experience
  • Detail-oriented and organized multi-tasker
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated success in positioning and launching differentiated products/services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Subject matter expertise in the particular product or market
  • Deep understanding of how a product/service is sold and the channels they are sold into
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
