About the position

Innovative Systems, a global leader in hi-tech data management and AML compliance solutions, is seeking a high-achieving, results-oriented Product Marketing Manager. This role is designed for individuals who thrive on making significant business impacts by combining product marketing with go-to-market tactics to drive growth. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will leverage your exemplary research skills to analyze and understand the competitive landscape, developing insights that will inform product positioning and marketing strategies aimed at broadening our competitive advantage and driving revenue growth. In this position, you will be responsible for crafting compelling product messaging that resonates with customers, effectively communicating our value proposition. Your experience in product marketing, particularly within enterprise B2B software organizations in financial services, AML, risk, compliance, fintech, or related industries, will be crucial in meeting the challenges of this role. You will blend your deep analytic skills with an understanding of relevant technologies, including data analytics and machine learning, to create strategic marketing programs that accelerate revenue growth. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting market research, performing competitive analysis, and advising company leadership on trends and competitive situations. You will maintain an in-depth understanding of customer segments and buyer personas, utilizing this knowledge to communicate value propositions effectively. Additionally, you will perform ongoing revenue analysis to identify trends and optimize go-to-market strategies, while also collaborating with various teams to ensure successful product launches and support sales initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform competitive and market research to prepare industry and competitor battle cards.
  • Advise company leadership on optimal ways to address trends and competitive situations.
  • Conduct extensive analysis of the external/regulatory environment to identify insights for product development.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of customer segments and buyer personas.
  • Utilize research to advise product management and engineering on new features and product roadmap.
  • Perform ongoing revenue analysis to identify trends and optimize go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze reasons for won and lost deals and develop recommendations for improvements.
  • Interact with analysts, clients, and internal stakeholders to validate target messaging and positioning.
  • Debrief regularly with Sales and Account Management to understand client needs and improve messaging effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Communications and Demand Generation teams to stimulate the market and generate demand.
  • Translate product features into Unique Selling Points (USP) in collaboration with other departments.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to orchestrate product launches.
  • Support Sales with new business development activities, including industry trend analysis and lead identification.

Requirements

  • At least 1 to 3 years of Product Marketing or Product Marketing Management experience in B2B software technology companies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in conducting market research and deriving insights from data.
  • Proven track record of understanding new markets, industries, products, and customer audiences quickly.
  • Ability to create tangible marketing deliverables and take a process-oriented approach to execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strength in crafting compelling stories for B2B technology products.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the financial services sector, particularly in AML, risk/compliance, KYC, FinTech, or RegTech.
  • An MBA with a concentration in Marketing or Business Strategy.
