About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Bio-Techne is responsible for expanding market penetration of key instruments and related consumables within the Cellular Analysis and ImmunoAssay portfolios. This role involves developing and executing high-growth go-to-market campaigns, demand generation programs, and building awareness of Bio-Techne's instrument product lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the life science research market and exceptional market development skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and execute high-impact go-to-market (GTM) campaigns/programs to drive revenue growth for the instrument portfolio in key customer segments.
  • Develop and execute marketing programs for licensing and commercial supply of relevant product categories within the Protein Sciences Segment.
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic multi-channel integrated marketing plans to acquire and convert new customers and engage, retain, and grow existing customers.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of market trends and dynamics, competitive landscape, and critical market success factors as the global product and market expert.
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional partners to ensure alignment of marketing plans for new products and on-market product improvements.
  • Develop and promote high-value content including testimonials, seminars, webinars, posters, and sales tools for new and existing products.
  • Formulate and implement marketing strategies at the portfolio level to boost brand awareness and demand generation.
  • Develop relevant content across the marketing funnel and deploy via multiple channels that align with customer journeys.
  • Maintain campaign/program KPI and metrics dashboards, perform pipeline analysis, and analyze demand generation trends, reporting on the effectiveness of marketing activities.
  • Manage marketing budgets and optimize the promotional mix on campaigns/programs to achieve a high return on investment.
  • Develop and deliver product launch toolkits that provide impactful new product messaging and education to commercial teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry or related discipline; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the life sciences industry with at least 3 years in a product marketing function.
  • Strong ability to develop and communicate the unique value and promise of Bio-Techne products to life science research customers.
  • Ability to understand, integrate, and synthesize insights across customers, competitors, business areas, and markets to inform customer-centric campaigns.
  • Experience in developing successful lead generation initiatives using multi-channel strategies to drive funnel fulfillment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship building skills at all organizational levels.
