About the position

As a Product Marketing Manager at CircleCI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the go-to-market strategy for our innovative products. Your primary responsibility will be to grow our developer audience and drive adoption of our product features. This position requires a deep understanding of our customers, target segments, and buyer personas, as you will serve as the voice of the customer and advocate for their needs. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers to ensure that products are brought to market thoughtfully and effectively. In this cross-functional role, you will craft compelling narratives and value propositions that resonate with our audience. You will be responsible for creating marketing collateral, programs, and campaigns designed to drive product adoption and engagement. Additionally, you will present and train individuals across the organization on processes, programs, and enablement materials, ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed. Defining measurable success will be a key aspect of your role. You will own reporting and analysis for success metrics, driving for results and using data to measure progress and recommend improvements. Conducting competitive research and analysis will also be part of your responsibilities, as you synthesize insights to strengthen product differentiation and positioning. Your ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment will be crucial as you navigate the challenges of product marketing at CircleCI.

Responsibilities

  • Own the go-to-market strategy and grow our developer audience while driving adoption of our product and features.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to bring products to market thoughtfully.
  • Understand our customers, target segments, buyer personas, and the community, serving as the voice of the customer.
  • Craft compelling narratives and value propositions for our offerings.
  • Create marketing collateral, programs, and campaigns to drive product adoption and engagement.
  • Present, share, and train individuals across the organization on processes, programs, and enablement materials.
  • Define measurable success and own reporting and analysis for success metrics.
  • Conduct competitive research and analysis to strengthen product differentiation and positioning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in product marketing or similar roles for a tech company.
  • Prior experience working on go-to-market initiatives with a proven playbook for Product Marketing success.
  • Experience launching and driving adoption for new products and services, achieving key KPIs.
  • Ability to influence product development and product strategy.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with empathy for users and adaptability to engage stakeholders.
  • Passion for technology and ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working cross-functionally.
