About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Harvard Business Publishing's Corporate Learning division is responsible for leading the promotional and positioning strategies for industry-leading leadership development solutions. This role focuses on developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth globally, while collaborating cross-functionally to assess product performance and identify market opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global go-to-market strategies to drive product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
  • Create customer personas that represent target customer characteristics, behaviors, and needs to guide messaging and positioning efforts.
  • Develop overall product positioning in the market, including identifying target audiences and understanding the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop a value proposition that differentiates products from the competition.
  • Execute targeted long-term marketing plans/campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, events, and social media.
  • Work with product management to understand product features and benefits, developing effective messaging for target audiences.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer pain points and develop messaging for sales assets.
  • Support successful product launches and ongoing product success through collaboration with sales and customer success teams.
  • Contribute to market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors using various methods.
  • Create presentations to support sales enablement strategies.
  • Report on product performance metrics, including revenue, adoption, and customer feedback, to inform product strategy and marketing initiatives.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in product marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in professional services or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing and sales, with experience marketing to global 2000 companies.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for intangible products and services.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global, and dynamic environment.
  • Passion for driving business growth and customer success through effective marketing strategies.
