About the position

ColorPro Finishers, with over 40 years of proven reliability and experience in interior and exterior finishes, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager. This role is crucial in overseeing our new feature launch program, which includes orchestrating product launches, researching personas and use cases, creating product messaging and collateral, developing our value propositions, and evangelizing our offerings both internally and externally. The Product Marketing Manager will play a key role in ensuring that our products are effectively positioned in the market and that our sales teams are equipped with the necessary tools to succeed. The successful candidate will lead the strategy and execution of go-to-market plans for new feature launches, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure success. This involves conducting market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape. Utilizing these insights, the Product Marketing Manager will inform product positioning and messaging strategies that resonate with our target audience. Additionally, the role requires close collaboration with sales enablement and training teams to provide the necessary tools and support for effectively selling our products. This includes developing sales presentations and demos as needed, as well as creating compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market. The Product Marketing Manager will also be responsible for creating sales enablement materials and marketing collateral to support the sales process and educate customers and prospects about product features and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of go-to-market plans for new feature launches, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure success
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape

Requirements

  • Product marketing experience or equivalent in content marketing or product management
  • Great program management skills; proven track record to drive cross-functional projects
  • Great writer and thinker; exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with conducting quantitative and qualitative market research - including customer interviews
