About the position

The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) at MPS is a pivotal role designed for a self-motivated individual who will spearhead the execution of new products, solution marketing, and business strategy specifically for high power and isolated products. This position requires close collaboration with Field and Factory Application Engineers, sales teams, and customers, particularly focusing on Tier 1 and OEMs primarily located in the Detroit, Michigan area. The PMM will play a strategic role in product line roadmap planning, product definition, and the promotion and positioning of solutions to drive new business opportunities. This includes managing design-in and design win activities, which are crucial for the success of the product line. In addition to these responsibilities, the PMM will conduct thorough market and competitive analyses to inform pricing strategies and opportunity projections. Forecasting will also be a key component of this role, ensuring that the company is well-prepared for future market demands. The PMM will be expected to troubleshoot issues and problems that arise in the field, providing Q&A support to both customers and internal teams. This multifaceted role is essential for driving the growth and success of MPS's product offerings in a competitive market.

Requirements

  • Background in isolated IC power products such as isolated gate drivers, digital signal isolators, and isolated power
  • Experience in IC solution selling for EVs/HEV applications, including on-board chargers and DCDC converters
  • Familiarity with HEV/EV systems applications and automotive OEM/Tier 1 relationships is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent required
