About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager at Teradyne will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through product line architecture and differentiation. This position focuses on supporting sales growth and product profitability across various target markets, including Computing/Communications, Automotive, and Industrial/Defense. The role involves collaboration with multiple teams to ensure successful product development and market strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, engineering, sales, finance, and operations teams.
  • Support design-in opportunities and pre-sales activities with Teradyne Sales & Product Management.
  • Engage with Teradyne Engineering for new product concept, development, and deployment.
  • Manage new product introduction and product life cycle management with Teradyne Operations.
  • Track revenue plans and maximize profitability with Teradyne Finance.
  • Develop and drive product and sales plans, and present Production Board Test mid-term plan.
  • Identify technical market trends and emerging customers in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
  • Participate in strategic design-in activities to aid market share growth.
  • Develop competitive and differentiation collateral; assist in training sales and service engineers.
  • Assist with product management of TestStation and Nano test systems.
  • Develop product and package pricing strategy.
  • Build strategic customer relationships with new and break-in customers.
  • Negotiate account master terms, contract documents, and discount policies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing and/or product management experience with capital equipment or electronics-related sales.
  • Strong technical background and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering.
  • People management or team lead experience in design is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, synthesis, and integration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA strongly preferred.
