About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Vector Solutions is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for specific product lines within the Commercial business unit. This role involves customer segmentation, product launches, and creating marketing content to drive sales and enhance customer retention. The position requires collaboration across various teams, including Sales, Product, and Demand Generation, to ensure effective messaging and positioning of the company's SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define go-to-market strategy for specific product lines and industries within the Commercial business unit.
  • Own customer segmentation, penetration, and definition of ideal customer profile (ICP).
  • Create, execute, and manage launch plans for product and course releases, including customer communications and marketing collateral.
  • Define key competitive differentiators and value propositions, and create supporting collateral to drive higher win rates.
  • Produce content marketing assets to support demand generation, including blogs, infographics, guides, and videos.
  • Develop plans to improve cross-sell motion and penetration.
  • Conduct customer interviews and develop case studies.
  • Understand industry trends and utilize them for marketing campaigns.
  • Own buyer personas and understand buying behaviors.
  • Create and update sales collateral and documentation, such as pitch decks and product brochures.
  • Conduct customer research and synthesize findings to support changes in go-to-market strategy.
  • Provide input to Pricing and Product teams on changes to pricing and packaging.
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation and product marketing teams on campaign messaging and execution.
  • Support website and event marketing teams to ensure value-based messaging is incorporated.
  • Identify and execute targeted marketing programs to improve customer retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years work experience in marketing.
  • 1+ years of experience in product marketing at a SaaS B2B company.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into marketing strategies.
  • Ability to create compelling presentations and long-form marketing content.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Ability to create and deliver training and enablement sessions for customer-facing teams.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and change.
