About the position

As a Product Marketing Manager within our Cardiac Management Solutions (CMS) division, you will play a crucial role in supporting and leading marketing projects that enhance the management of cardiac patients. Our products, including the LifeVest wearable cardioverter defibrillator and ZOLL cardiac monitor, are vital in diagnosing and treating serious cardiopulmonary conditions. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring that cardiac patients receive the life-saving therapies they need, making a meaningful difference in their lives. In this position, you will develop and implement both short- and long-term business strategies to expand the use of CMS products. You will actively engage with the US Sales team, providing support and collaboration to drive domestic selling efforts. Your ability to interpret clinical studies will be essential in providing data analyses and messaging that will empower the sales team. You will also collaborate with cross-functional partners to create comprehensive marketing collateral tailored to specific market segments, ensuring that our messaging and promotional materials resonate with clinicians and healthcare professionals. Additionally, you will analyze market opportunities and develop strategies that create compelling value propositions and competitive positioning for our products. You will be responsible for executing effective launch plans for new products and features, coordinating efforts on company initiatives, and fostering relationships with key clinical individuals and organizations within the industry. Your contributions will be vital in shaping the marketing strategies for trade shows and annual sales meetings, ensuring that our messaging and training efforts are impactful and effective. This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of initiative and independent thinking. You will be expected to travel up to 20% of the time to engage with customers and key opinion leaders in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support the implementation of short- and long-term business strategies and tactics to expand use of CMS products
  • Actively engage and support domestic selling efforts by working in close collaboration with US Sales
  • Independently interpret clinical studies to provide data analyses and messaging for US Sales
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and vendors to develop comprehensive marketing collateral based on clinical indication driven market segments
  • Support development of annual sales meeting strategies, messaging, collateral, and training effort
  • Analyze market opportunities and support the development of strategies to create compelling value propositions and competitive positioning
  • Develop and execute effective launch plans for new products and features
  • Partner and/or lead cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts on company initiatives and product launches
  • Work with Marketing Leadership to set strategy, messaging, and execution approach for relevant trade shows
  • Develop and foster relationships with key clinical individuals and organizations within the industry
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field required
  • 4-6 years in downstream customer-facing product marketing in the medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or similar arena required
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret clinical data and develop compelling messages for use with clinicians
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-honed interpersonal and leadership skills
  • High level of internal initiative and independent thinking
  • Ability to interact with physicians, customers, and key opinion leaders
  • Effective team player in a fast-paced, highly visible environment
  • Experience working in a regulated industry in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree strongly preferred
  • Prior cardiac sales and/or marketing experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Power BI preferred
