About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Optimal Blue is responsible for executing product marketing strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth. This role involves understanding the company's products, conducting market research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective marketing initiatives and support successful product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the company's products and identify key features to attract and retain clients.
  • Stay up to date on market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in product marketing efforts.
  • Conduct research to gain insights into customer needs and market trends to inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Determine appropriate advertising efforts for product awareness across marketing channels.
  • Support Optimal Blue podcasts and events from a product marketing perspective.
  • Manage the creation of product-related content and coordinate the release of each asset across marketing channels.
  • Collaborate to develop engaging marketing collateral, web content, and materials to support lead generation and client retention efforts.
  • Work cross-functionally to cultivate the positioning, messaging, and brand-related items of a product or new feature.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional groups to define target market segments, product features, and pricing strategies.
  • Participate in product Go-to-Market projects and deliver marketing initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Support successful product launches by coordinating marketing activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Gather and process customer feedback to improve product messaging.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and industry contacts to amplify product messaging and generate positive coverage.
  • Deliver effective sales enablement tools in partnership with product and sales teams.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of product marketing principles and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful product marketing strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficient in market research and competitive analysis.
