About the position

The Global Senior Analyst in Product Design at Whirlpool Corporation is responsible for developing, leading, and launching strategic products for disposers and accessories. This role involves managing ongoing product and business KPIs, focusing on channel-specific offerings, and ensuring cross-functional collaboration to guarantee project success from inception to launch.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of 3-5 year product playbook in collaboration with Director of Product, VP of Marketing and global business leaders.
• Develop and assess market, competitor, customer, and consumer research to create strategic, actionable insights for current and future projects.
• Support development of insight-based strategy, design, and market requirement workshops to transform insights into projects.
• Lead product development projects from inception through launch in a defined stage gate process.
• Own the pipeline of product line extensions, channel-specific offerings, and continuous improvement projects including prioritization, timing, and business impact.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Support, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and other business leaders to shepherd initiatives and projects from inception to completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, product development, engineering, or other closely related technical field.
• 3 years of experience in product management and/or product marketing.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degree such as MBA.
• Background in consumer-facing appliances or Consumer Packaged Goods.
• Ability to lead and work in cross functional teams.
• Skills in leadership, initiative, creativity, problem solving, analysis, and cross functional communication.
• Proficiency in Google Chrome and/or Microsoft spreadsheets, word documents, and presentation materials.
• Strong project management skills.
