About the position

The Product Marketing Specialist for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at SAP is a pivotal role within the Data & Analytics Product Marketing team. This position is designed to enhance SAP's reputation as a leader in the FP&A sector. The specialist will collaborate with FP&A experts to drive the messaging, web strategy, marketing campaigns, product launches, event content, and customer stories related to SAP's industry-leading enterprise planning product, SAP Analytics Cloud. Reporting directly to the VP of Data & Analytics Product Marketing, the specialist will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at increasing awareness and adoption of SAP's solutions in the FP&A domain. In this role, the specialist will engage with various stakeholders, including product management, global communications, sales, field marketing, and partner marketing, to create a seamless customer journey that promotes thought leadership and drives product adoption. The specialist will also be tasked with creating compelling product messaging and content for customer-facing assets, such as presentations, whitepapers, and eBooks. Project management skills will be essential, as the specialist will coordinate efforts across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery of key marketing initiatives. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about FP&A and looking to grow into a product marketing leader. Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders across Integrated Marketing and Product Management to create a customer journey that drives awareness, thought leadership, and adoption of SAP Analytics Cloud for planning.
  • Create compelling product messaging and content for web strategy and customer-facing assets such as presentations, whitepapers, and eBooks.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across Sales, Product Management, and Communications to ensure key deliverables are finalized on time and incorporate input from subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in finance, marketing, technology, and/or business field
  • Fundamental understanding of financial planning & analysis
  • Basic knowledge of FP&A tools
  • Basic knowledge of product marketing
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written, digital, and interpersonal
  • Proficient presentation and social media content designer
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
