About The Position
Veeco Instruments is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist for their Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) product line to promote the development and sale of complex semiconductor processing equipment used in the research, development, and manufacture of high-tech components. The successful candidate will work with a matrix team of internal and external groups to understand customer requirements and develop product configurations that meet their needs. Major responsibilities include identifying market trends, developing product specifications, and communicating to other functional areas in the business, working with customers to develop solutions for their challenges, responding to specifications and RFQs, preparing quotations, and managing customer expectations and satisfaction after system sale. This role is a highly integrated, visible, cross-functional 'driver' that has a significant, measurable impact on the success of the MBE product line. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical and creative thinking skills to interpret customer requirements, configure products, and articulate product differentiation and value.
