About the position

The Product Marketing Specialist at Procede Software plays a vital role in shaping the positioning and messaging of the company's software products. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives resonate with the target audience and drive product adoption. The Specialist will be responsible for creating marketing collateral, executing product launches, conducting market research, and analyzing marketing performance metrics to optimize strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality marketing collateral, including product datasheets, case studies, white papers, and blog posts.
  • Create, edit, and distribute product release announcements.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of collateral, including online information and data sheets.
  • Execute product launch tasks and may own specific launches or be a team member for larger product launches.
  • Assist with trade-show preparation, including updating presentations and attending shows.
  • Research market and industry to understand competition and related market trends.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and customer needs.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
  • Develop and refine product positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with product management and sales teams to create and execute effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Gather feedback and insights from customers to inform product enhancements and marketing strategies.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Work closely with design, development, and other marketing team members to ensure consistent brand messaging.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the software industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of B2B software products and the technology landscape.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software (e.g., CRM, email marketing platforms, analytics tools).
  • Excellent written, verbal and technical communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required, including Word & Excel.
