About the position

The Product Operations Engineer for MicroDisplay and Augmented Reality at Google will play a crucial role in enhancing operational processes and efficiency within the Raxium display group. This position involves executing and documenting operational procedures, analyzing production data, and resolving operational issues to support the development of innovative display technologies that bridge the digital and physical realms.

Responsibilities

• Execute and document operational procedures to deliver product.
• Improve the team's operational processes and efficiency.
• Summarize production trends by monitoring and analyzing production data sets.
• Identify and resolve operational problems and production issues by performing root cause analysis and creating effective solutions.
• Validate new production features and software releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Operations Management, Computer Science, Physics, or a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with data analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Operations Management, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with microLED display technology or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) or SQL for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with monitoring, automating, and troubleshooting operational issues and improving operational efficiency.
• Experience with asset management systems and product traceability requirements.
