About the position

The Product Operations Lead at lululemon is a key member of the store leadership team, responsible for executing the store's product strategy, managing inventory operations, and ensuring a well-organized back of house (BOH). This role involves leading inventory shifts, overseeing product operations, and enhancing the guest experience on the sales floor. The Product Operations Lead also plays a crucial role in team member evaluations and hiring decisions, contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with store leadership to implement product strategy.
  • Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure execution of product actions such as pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
  • Engage team members in inventory management to create a fun and productive atmosphere.
  • Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell-through strategy and optimal product availability.
  • Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to inform actions and provide recommendations to store leadership.
  • Participate in the store's hiring process, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding.
  • Address team member performance and support their ongoing learning and development through feedback and coaching.
  • Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by establishing supportive working relationships with team members.
  • Lead from the floor as Supervisor on Duty to ensure every guest receives technical product education and a world-class experience.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
  • 1 year of work experience, preferably in inventory management or related fields.
  • Experience with product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics.
  • Some experience in leading, mentoring, or delegating tasks to others.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above.
  • Experience in retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations.
  • Experience in reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics.
  • Food safety and/or liquor service certification for experiential stores with food/beverage service.
