About the position

The Product Operations Lead at Lyft is a pivotal role within the Central Operations team, focusing on supporting Bike and Scooter operations. This position involves collaborating with various teams to launch new products, gather user feedback, analyze data, and influence the product roadmap. The role is highly cross-functional, requiring interaction with software, hardware, operations, customer support, and supply chain teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and synthesize feedback and pain points from Operations and liaise with Product and Technical teams.
  • Understand city-specific operations challenges and guide operators in how to use products effectively and efficiently.
  • Help define and build the case for new features, engaging with stakeholders, documenting use cases, and ensuring requirements are handed off to the Product team.
  • Manage the launch of new operational tools or product features, including stakeholder management, documentation, training operators, and gathering feedback post-launch.
  • Champion the operator experience across Lyft, ensuring all teams understand this user group's unique needs, perspectives, and goals.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Eagerness to learn about bike and scooter share operations through warehouse visits and in-field ride-alongs
  • Experience executing and creating/enhancing processes to deliver cross-functional projects across diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to develop scalable approaches and use data visualization tools to provide actionable insights
  • Ability to craft a compelling story and concisely present recommendations across teams and levels, including both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in or interest in learning SQL
  • Strong product and user experience awareness
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and inspire others in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail
  • Balance between intellectual curiosity and the desire to roll up your sleeves and execute

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or French is preferred, but not required
