About the position

The Product Operations Manager at TikTok's U.S. Data Security (USDS) division is responsible for overseeing the execution of product launches and updates, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimizing operational processes. This role requires a data-driven approach to enhance product performance and manage risks associated with product rollouts. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement in product management.

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end execution of product launches and trust and safety strategies.
• Oversee post-launch product quality and refine processes to scale operations effectively.
• Analyze product performance, user feedback, and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with Legal, Policy, and additional T&S teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential risks related to product rollouts and operational changes, mitigating issues before they impact broader teams or users.
• Implement feedback loops to refine processes, optimize workflows, and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent (advanced degree preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or program management in a technology-driven environment.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and scaling operational processes.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to Trust & Safety or digital platform governance.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• MS or MBA degree
• Experience with global, cross-functional teams across different time zones and cultures.
• Expertise in Trust & Safety and understanding of safety-by-design principles.
• Experience managing products related to human and/or machine-based moderation for removing harmful content.
