About the position

The Product Owner for Agent Tools & Platforms at SimpliSafe is responsible for driving the development and optimization of internal tools used by the Customer Experience (CX) organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that product solutions align with business objectives and enhance the customer experience. The Product Owner will oversee the product lifecycle, manage implementation projects using Agile methodologies, and continuously seek improvements in internal tools and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the product lifecycle for internal agent tools and systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and develop product roadmaps.
  • Independently manage multiple priorities while collaborating with leadership to influence product strategy.
  • Develop clear requirements to guide development efforts and facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Partner with Enablement teams to prepare agents for leveraging product functionality effectively.
  • Manage the implementation of new products and enhancements using Agile methodologies.
  • Utilize project management tools like Jira to manage backlogs and track progress.
  • Drive continuous improvement of internal tools by identifying process gaps and championing innovation.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of product management experience, preferably in CRM or SaaS products.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing large-scale initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to build relationships across multiple levels of leadership.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and their business applications.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with an aptitude for identifying process gaps.
