As the Product Team Manager at Western Alliance Bank, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Bank's Product Management function across all business lines. Your primary responsibility will be to drive enhancements, stability, and scalability within the Bank's product suite. This involves developing and leading the Bank's Product strategy and roadmap, ensuring that innovative concepts are transformed into tangible, profitable products that align with the Bank's objectives. You will provide hands-on leadership at the departmental level, guiding your team to realize key innovations and effectively manage the product lifecycle. In this role, you will support the Product Management Director and Chief Operating Officer in executing the Bank's strategic plan, with a focus on developing and operating profitable banking products. Your success will be measured by your team's ability to meet product development objectives, manage product health, and respond to market dynamics. You will direct Product Development, overseeing strategic technology direction, project delivery, and resource allocation, including budget and personnel management. You will also be responsible for defining the standards and deliverables for the product lifecycle process, which includes business case development, requirement gathering, product design, implementation, and maintenance. Ensuring the department's success in managing product health and effectiveness will be crucial, as will your team's proactive approach to addressing obstacles in product development and adoption, competitive analysis, and risk mitigation. Fostering strong relationships with executives and senior leaders in partner departments, such as Lending, Credit Administration, Risk Management/Compliance, and IT, will be essential. You will facilitate your team's contributions to compliance with technical processes and requirements, risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer service. Additionally, you will lead and develop your team, taking responsibility for hiring, coaching, performance management, training, and development.
