About the position

The Product Owner Applications and Platform Services at ARES Corporation will serve as the key liaison within the Custom Web Agile Release Train (ART) throughout all stages of the product life cycle. This role involves collaborating closely with Product Management, business owners, and customers to ensure alignment of business value and outcomes. The Product Owner will translate customer requirements into actionable solutions, continuously refine the product vision, and manage the ART backlog while participating in key ART events.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Product Owner within the Custom Web Agile Release Train (ART) throughout all stages of the product life cycle.
• Collaborate with Product Management, business owners, and customers to ensure business value and alignment of outcomes.
• Translate customer requirements into solutions measured as business outcomes.
• Provide continuous refinement of the product vision and communicate it to the ART.
• Revise roadmaps as needed based on product strategy.
• Prioritize ART backlog and feature acceptance.
• Participate in ART events such as PI planning, Inspect and Adapt activities, and demonstrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a Product Manager or Product Manager support role.
• Certified SAFe Practitioner and Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager.
• Familiarity with System Applications and Products (SAP).
• Experience with Power Automate tools, Jira, PI Planning.io, Mural, and Jira Align.
• Advanced utilization of Microsoft applications such as Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.

Nice-to-haves

• Enterprise Architecture Certification.
• Experience with The Open Group's ArchiMate Framework.
• Experience with ArchiMate Modeling Tool.
• Previous experience with NASA.
• Experience using GitHub.
