About the position

The Product Owner role at Cognizant focuses on providing consulting services to aviation clients, specifically in the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector. Responsibilities

• Consult directly with Aviation clients to provide advisory services for complex business and technology challenges.
• Manage and direct a small-to-medium team of Consultants through client engagement and solution development.
• Lead communications with project stakeholders, including status reporting and issue resolution.
• Contribute to thought leadership and practice initiatives within the consulting team.
• Engage with client contacts to generate leads and identify new consulting opportunities.
• Support professional development and recruitment activities within the consulting team.

Requirements

• 6 to 8+ years of management consulting and industry experience in business analysis and operations.
• Relevant Aviation industry experience in Maintenance, Flight, and Systems Operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Communications, Finance, Logistics, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of driving transformation successfully.
• Experience leading technical and non-technical initiatives, coordinating workstreams in multi-team projects.
• Leadership skills to oversee multiple Consultants and non-consultants toward common goals.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA degree preferred.
• Experience with program quality frameworks, methods, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma).
