Cognizant is seeking a skilled and experienced Product Owner/Business Analyst to join our dynamic team within the Retail and Consumer Consulting Practice. This role is pivotal in delivering effective solutions that align with Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: Project Execution, Expertise, Business Development, Practice Development, and People Development. As a Senior Consultant, you will partner with clients and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and support the delivery of innovative solutions. You will apply your technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges and inefficiencies, while also developing and strengthening your domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant's industry propositions and consulting capabilities. In this position, you will be responsible for documenting business requirements received through various intake forms, converting these requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps (ADO), and ensuring effective execution by Solution Architects and Development Scrum Teams. You will create and maintain a backlog of initiatives, feature requests, product defects, and enhancements, working closely with the Development team to continuously refine and groom the backlog to a ready state of acceptance. Collaboration with business stakeholders is essential, as you will create comprehensive acceptance criteria and facilitate precise testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Additionally, you will prepare and maintain detailed release notes in advance of product launches, ensuring all updates are thoroughly documented for review and certification by Product Owners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, proven experience working with Azure DevOps, and excellent communication skills. You will be adept at working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects with a sharp focus on deadlines and deliverables.
