About the position

The Product Owner/Business Analyst role at Genesis10 involves working in a fast-paced environment within the financial industry, specifically focusing on mobile technology. This position requires engagement throughout all phases of the agile methodology, emphasizing effective communication with stakeholders and in-depth understanding of project requirements to ensure timely deliverables. The ideal candidate will lead the initial phases of projects with minimal support, while also performing typical analyst responsibilities such as writing epics/features, breaking them down into user stories, and conducting regular grooming sessions.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, complex environment aligned to the client's technology vertical.
• Engage through all phases of the agile methodology.
• Identify and understand system interactions to provide the development team with software nuances for efficient implementation.
• Write epics/features and break them down into user stories.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders and conduct regular grooming sessions.
• Perform ad-hoc testing and work with the Line of Business to accept stories.
• Lead the initial phase of projects with minimal support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Expert in requirements gathering and agile experience.
• Ability to work with user interaction teams and perform detailed analysis on wireframes.
• Ability to work with Architects/Dev leads to understand back-end systems.
• Must be able to identify tasks and timelines for deliverables.
• Ability to work with all stakeholders including Line of Business, Development, and Testing teams.
• Eager and enthusiastic to learn and adapt new skills.
• Ability to deliver System Interface diagrams/Business Technology diagrams.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the environment.
