About the position

The Product Owner for Cloud Security at Diamondpick will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution of security products and features that protect cloud environments and applications. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms and security best practices, along with a proven track record in managing the development of security solutions in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, own, and evolve the product roadmap for cloud security solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cloud security objectives.
  • Drive the execution of security product features, enhancements, and initiatives that protect cloud environments and applications from threats.
  • Collaborate closely with cloud security engineers, development teams, DevOps, and stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure seamless integration of security features.
  • Engage with various teams to understand their needs and translate them into actionable security solutions, features, and backlog items.
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on technical feasibility, business impact, customer value, and risk mitigation.
  • Continuously refine the backlog to ensure the team is focused on the highest value work, balancing innovation with security requirements.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience in designing, building, and operating cloud-native security tools and services.
  • Ensure the cloud environments comply with internal control requirements, regulatory obligations, and external security standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO), with comprehensive reporting and dashboards.
  • Lead efforts to design, implement, and maintain robust security controls and solutions that proactively protect the cloud infrastructure from emerging threats.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions and issues, ensuring swift resolution and continuous delivery of high-quality security features.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)).
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on cloud security or cloud-native product development.
  • Proven experience in developing cloud security solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP, including hands-on familiarity with cloud security services (e.g., AWS Shield, Azure Security Center).
  • Experience working in agile development teams and environments, leveraging DevSecOps principles and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (NIST, CIS, ISO) and their application in cloud environments.
  • Ability to manage complex cross-functional teams, projects, and priorities with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and experience in backlog management, refinement, and prioritization.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and guide technical and non-technical teams.
