About the position

Are you passionate about creating innovative solutions that deliver value to the business and the customers? Do you have experience with ERP financial systems and agile methodologies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! As a Product Owner II, you will be responsible for leading a product team that manages a set of capabilities and applications related to our financial ERP systems. You will work with upper management and key stakeholders to define the product vision, roadmap, release plan, and backlog. You will also collaborate with the architecture, security, and platform teams to ensure the quality, security, and design of the product. You will use agile methods such as Scrum to improve team effectiveness and deliver value to the business. You will also communicate the product features and benefits to internal and external audiences, translating technical jargon into business language.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a product team managing capabilities and applications related to financial ERP systems.
  • Define product vision, roadmap, release plan, and backlog in collaboration with upper management and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with architecture, security, and platform teams to ensure product quality, security, and design.
  • Utilize agile methods such as Scrum to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Communicate product features and benefits to internal and external audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Development, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of information technology experience.
  • Agile Product Owner certification, or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience with ERP financial systems, preferably Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of the accounting discipline and financial processes.
  • Experience with third-party databases, libraries, interfaces, and internet protocols.
  • Proficiency with software engineering and related tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Git, etc.
  • Ability to facilitate and resolve disagreements over scope, design, and requirements.
  • Knowledge of hardware, software, and network setup and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to articulate both marketing and IT needs/issues to all groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of iterative/agile development and customer-centric design.
