About the position

The Product Owner in Digital (Merchant Services) is responsible for leading the development and delivery of digital products within the banking and payments domain. This role focuses on strategic planning, process management, and agile product ownership, ensuring that value-driven initiatives are prioritized and executed effectively. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex problems, making it essential for collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of digital products in the banking/payments domain.
• Manage strategic planning and process management for product initiatives.
• Utilize agile methodologies to track, prioritize, and deliver product capabilities using tools like Jira.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on value-driven initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, simplifying complex problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital product development experience.
• Strong banking/payments domain knowledge with at least 10+ years of experience.
• Preferably 5+ years of relevant payments experience at an acquirer or merchant service provider.
• Hands-on experience in delivering product capabilities using agile methodology.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Management consulting experience in digital practice.
