About the position

Navistar is undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions, with a strong commitment to evolving its digital capabilities and tools. The Navistar Digital Dealer is a crucial part of this digital ecosystem, supporting the company, its network of dealers, and customers in the upcoming years. We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Owner Digital Dealer for Lead Orchestration, who will be responsible for defining how service leads are generated and managed within the Digital Dealer ecosystem to support Service Advisors' proactive work approach. As a Product Owner in Digital Dealer, you will be an integral part of one of our cross-functional agile teams and a member of the Dealer Digitalization team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with users, designers, process experts, and other stakeholders to create value for our users at every step. The Product Owner is the main driver of the product's vision, value creation, and future evolution, ensuring that the product meets the needs of its users while delivering great results in a fun and engaging environment. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the definition of the roadmap and activities needed to orchestrate new service leads within Digital Dealer, exploring innovative feature ideas that enhance software development, and understanding the business landscape to create relevant features. You will also define the technical landscape for ecosystem integration, manage and prioritize the product backlog, participate in development processes, and engage in user research to create user journeys and prototypes, ultimately building high-performance products.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition of the roadmap and activities needed to define how new service leads are calculated and orchestrated within Digital Dealer.
  • Work with your team to explore new, innovative feature ideas that advance the state of software development in your area and the surrounding ones, delivering real value to real users.
  • Understand the business landscape and utilize that knowledge to create relevant features.
  • Contribute in defining the technical landscape and solution of the integration of the ecosystem.
  • Define epics for new software features, breaking them down into features and user stories, and manage and prioritize the product backlog for your team.
  • Actively participate in development processes to review, explain and influence.
  • Be a part of user research and the creation of user journeys and prototypes.
  • Build high-performance products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 9 years of technical project/program management and/or product owner experience and at least 2 years of lead experience.
  • OR a Master's degree with at least 5 years of technical project/program management and/or product owner experience and at least 2 years of lead experience.
  • OR at least 12 years of technical project/program management and/or product owner experience and at least 2 years of lead experience.
